First we spoke with journalist Steven Thrasher about his Village Voice cover story The Non-Profit 1%.  And in participation with the CUNY Graduate Center Conference on Disability Studies, we talked with Dr. Mariette Bates, Academic Director of Disability Studies at CUNY’s School of Professional Studies and leading NYC Disability Rights Activist, Chair of the Taxis For All Campaign  and President of the504 Democratic Club, Edith Prentiss.
